This is a test post from the iPhone.

Its my birthday today and I see presents and a cake sitting on the table. I feel like a kid and kind of want to sneak in there and peak inside the gift bag and see what I got. I got an early gift yesterday. It was a set of english and metric allen wrenches to replace the ones I lost at the airport. You can read about the loss here if you have any interest.

Rumor has it that the tag is not working any more. So this is the beginning of the post and this is the rest of it.

I’m back editing this post because the tag did in fact get stripped away. That kinda sucks but I guess its to be expected in code that is coming into maturity.

It’s Saturday and I didn’t even get to sleep late. I just woke up early. No reason. I just did. I guess it was good thing because I had alot to do. I’m in the middle of a server upgrade and that took some time. I’m in a fight to the death battle with SPAM. You can read about it on my other blog on wugga.com if you’re interested. I think I’m winning because I get almost no mail anymore Maybe I’ll start letting a little slip through just so I’ll have something to rant about.

In other news we took the dog for a couple of walks. One to the USPS and another this evening to Starbucks.

Where can I get a copy of Blogging for Dummies? I’m writing this and apparantly I can do lots of cool things. I see options for an Optional Excerpt and Custom Fields but I’m not sure if I really need those. At least not at this early stage in my blogging (or is it publishing) career. Trackbacks, now that seems like something I should definitly have. I want people to find their way back. Don’t I?

I also see that I can allow pings. I do. Why wouldn’t I? But should I tell people “one ping only”? It seemed awfully important in “The Hunt for Red October”

Allow Comments. You Bet. I want comments. I think comments mean you have a “good” blog.

Password-Protect Post? From who, or is it whom, I never remember but think whom sounds richer.

Post slug? I’m not even sure what to ask or comment about that but it seems like something you would want to do to an enemies blog and not your own.

Categories I understand.

I think I probably need a permalink but I don’t know where to get one. Other people have them and I’m gonna go somewhere and get myself one.

I wish I knew how to blog. It seems like everyone is doing it and I’m really trying hard. I always have an opinion on everything and am usually very vocal about it. Maybe I just need blogging to be more interactive so I’ll have something to bounce my thoughts off of. Not being part of the bloging illuninati it seems like I’m just talking into a really big void.

I need stimulation.

As you can see in the previous post. I figured out how to post a picture. Now I should probably figure out how to use the thumbnail that it asked me if I wanted created.

I have no idea how I add a picture but all the cool bloggers have a photo or two on their ages so I’m giving it a try. Here goes.

WOW! Somebody actually read something I blogged. Amazing. And they left a comment too. This is a significant moment for me. One that obviously must be recorded for all the world (and Google) to take note of. Maybe I’m starting to move up and as my first post said maybe this is “My Lucky Day”

Well I promised I’d get back and write some more today so here I am. I’m tired and grumpy so I really don’t have much to offer other than I need to get some sleep. I read some of the other blogs here and it seems like everyone has their minds in gear and are offering meaningful insight into life. Maybe another day will be my turn offer the something when they have all run dry. At this rate I don’t expect I’ll be making the frontpage of movers and shakers here at wordpress.com
